Marcos R. Marchena - Shareholder

Mr. Marchena is the founding shareholder of Marchena and Graham, P.A., which was established in 1988. He has been practicing law since 1985 and is widely respected for his lawyering skills, including representation of public sector clients. Mr. Marchena is an AV-Rated attorney. Mr. Marchena has resided in Orlando since emigrating from Cuba in 1971. Mr. Marchena’s legal experience includes, in addition to representing governmental entities, negotiation of complex commercial transactions, acting as bond counsel, airport law, including implementation of complex concessions programs, land use, real property and business law. Mr. Marchena has maintained an active civic life outside of his law practice. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of The Christ School. He is a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Central Florida. He is a past Chairman of the Florida Transportation Commission, a past Chairman of the Middle District Federal Nominating Committee, a past Chairman of the Orange County Planning and Zoning Commission, a past Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Valencia Community College and a past Chairman of the Nominating Commission of the City of Orlando.

Keith A. Graham - Shareholder

Keith A. Graham is a founding shareholder at Marchena and Graham, P.A, which was founded in 1988. Mr. Graham has resided in Orlando since 1971. Mr. Graham has been practicing law since 1987 and his practice includes a broad range of trial and appellate cases covering complex business litigation in state, federal district, bankruptcy and related appellate courts, including a variety of contract, real estate, business related tort, eminent domain, construction, creditors’ rights and environmental litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Graham’s experience also includes corporate law, business transactions, real estate transactions, government and contract law.

Anne van den Berg - Partner

Ms. van den Berg is a shareholder at Marchena and Graham, P.A. and has been practicing with the firm since April 2013. Prior to practicing at the firm, she worked for Hunton & Williams in Richmond, Virginia and for Carrington, Coleman, Sloman and Blumenthal in Dallas, Texas, in its bankruptcy section. Ms. Van den Berg was born in Paris, France. She has lived in Central Florida since 1989. Her practice is concentrated in corporate law, business transactions, airport law, commercial transactions, government law, contract law and wills and trusts.

Outside of her law practice, Ms. van den Berg has an active civic life. Ms. van den Berg is a current Board Member for The Ephraim Project, Emeritus Board Member of the Winter Park Playhouse and past Board Member at Trinity Preparatory School and St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary.

Valerie David - Associate

Valerie C. David is an Attorney at Marchena & Graham, P.A., where she provides strategic legal representation in commercial and business litigation, including eminent domain. She also provides representation in commercial transactions.

A first-generation attorney and proud Central Florida native, Mrs. David discovered her passion for law through an aptitude test, leading her to earn a Legal Studies degree from the University of Central Florida. She spent nearly a decade as a paralegal at De Beaubien, Knight, Simmons, Mantzaris & Neal, LLP, specializing in civil, commercial, and complex business litigation. In law school she served as Executive Articles Editor of Law Review, and earned a book award in Torts II.

Mrs. David began her legal career as an attorney with Morgan & Morgan’s Business Trial Group, gaining hands-on experience in high-stakes commercial litigation.

Beyond her legal practice, she was selected as a 2023–2025 Fellow of the Business Law Section of The Florida Bar, where she has emerged as an active and influential leader. She currently serves as Chair of the Inclusion, Mentoring, and Fellowship Committee (IMF), and previously chaired the Electronic Discovery and Digital Evidence Committee (EDDEC). During her leadership of EDDEC, the committee successfully revised and updated the ESI Protocol/Guidelines, which were formally adopted by the Business Law Section in June 2025.
